1. Why does Dr. Liu use the entire Chapter 1 and part of the Chapter 2 to prepare readers to read the actual content of the book? Can I skip it and read the following chapters?

 

2. The Chapter 5 describes some scientific experiments which I do not understand very well because I am not in the field related with biological science or medicine. Can I skip it and read other chapters?

4. Do I need to practice the meditation and healing concepts and techniques as guided in each chapter and at the end of every chapter or I don't have to practice, and just keep reading until I finished the entire book?

 
   

 


 

1. Why does Dr. Liu use the entire Chapter 1 and part of the Chapter 2 to prepare readers to read the actual content of the book? Can I skip it and read the following chapters?

This book aims different groups of people as readers, including general individuals with any backgrounds, and doctors or professionals in the holistic healthcare and conventional healthcare, and other professional and non-professional fields. Some people are ready and some are not ready to read this book. Some readers think they are ready and have reached deep level in this field, but they are not necessarily on the same page with the author and what this book talks about.

It's why the author sincerely asked you to read with opened mind, patience, and often alter your position, understand from different angles, and view the whole, but not only from your existing knowledge base or understanding at your current state.

This will help you gain a bigger whole scope of view about your life, others' life, entire human kind's life, and as well as the world, the universe, which are all connected to the root of the origin of life; the characteristics and energy nature of the universe and all lives within it.

The chapter 1 and 2, should be an easy reading but need your patience, humbleness and relaxed mentality, but not in a hurry to pursue a specific answer to a topic or a question.

2. The Chapter 5 describes some scientific experiments which I do not understand very well because I am not in the field related with biological science or medicine. Can I skip it and read other chapters?

Yes, you do not have to read the Chapter 5 if you are not familiar with the experiments.

But I would like to suggest that you briefly read the introduction, summary or conclusion of the experiments, so you can learn how the mental and spiritual energy generated during the meditation, music healing or spiritual practice can actually change the biological or physiological status, resulting in the health improvement. By reading such a minimal content of this chapter, you can ensure your understanding and strengthen your belief of the spiritual practice and the power of spiritual healing that impact the physical and mental health and wellness. It will help you understand the mechanism, process and consequences of quanlum energy healing.

3. Dr. Liu wrote about the principles, ideas, concepts and models before the actual teaching of the MBM practice, but I want to read the specific techniques that I can quickly apply to my daily life and practice. Why doesn't Dr. Liu directly tell me the practice quickly instead of the theory and principle?

As I mentioned in the book, this healing science is different from other fields of science. It is not simply just a technique in this visible dimension so that I can directly tell you what to do and how to do. I have to take you to the first place, build the firm foundation from the origin of life, universe, and then establish the concept, idea, model inside yourself, not outside of you, through the process taht you actual do it, practice it, feel it, and get it, then you keep the practice, understand deeper, feel it more, and build it up stronger and stronger, by yourself while you are reading the writing.

This also actually answered your 4th question below.

4. Do I need to practice the meditation and healing concepts and techniques as guided in each chapter and at the end of every chapter or I don't have to practice it and just keep reading until I finished the entire book?

Yes, you do need to practice the idea, principle, theory, concept, model, skill or technique from the first chapter reading, and do the actual practice whenever I mentioned or talked about, try to improve your WuXing (sense of understanding the spiritual secret and ability of doing the spiritual practice). This process starts from the very first word of the book you started to read.

At the end of each chapter, we have a meditation practice with the healing music. You are highly recommended to do the practice. If you have the energy healing music, it will be the best, so you can actually do the practice throughout the entire hour after you read. It will help you really feel the energy, get into the practice and build strong interest, motivation and insight into this mysterious science and practice.

Some readers do not actually practice, but just read as a theoretical book, stay in the surface or logical ideology, then they can get bored, tired, lost interest, or even confused, or cannot keep up the reading until the end. Therefore actually take action to read and practice at the same time, it is supposed the way to read this book - the most joyful way of your reading this book.

5. It is a long book, how do you suggest me to read in a beneficial time frame or reading schedule?

Do not try to read all at once, but do not leave too long until you read next part. Please try to read everyday, and reasonable amount each day, so your mind will be upgraded with the fresh content and insight deeper and deeper. Also everyday you give some time to practice, even 10 to 15 minutes practice will be helpful. Sometime practicing with the energy healing music will be great, so that you can have your energy built up stronger and stronger each day.

On some days if you have more time, you can read more; let's say, a hour or hours, it is fine if you enjoy reading longer, and then after reading, take a walk, or have a movement practice, metitation practice or Qigong, Yoga or TaiChi practice with the energy music the book mentioned.

6. Further editing and future editions.

Dr. Liu's reader(s) made such a kind and pertinent advice for the book to have a further professional editing. Dr. Liu appreciated it so much and truly agrees with the advice. Dr. Liu wishes to write his content as good as a native English writer does, but as a matter of fact he still has limitation in this aspect as English is anyway his third language. His editor of this book has the professional ability to edit or even rewrite the book, but he so respectfully wanted to keep Dr. Liu's original tone and writing style, keeping his original energy flow naturally along with the text, so that the book currently has Dr. Liu's original vibration within it, although there is a disadvantage of non-native English writing. For the future edition, however, Dr. Liu definitely plans to have a professional editor to help improve it to make next edition a much better one.

7. Other modalities such as nutrition, body work and exercises are also needed beside meditation.

Yes, you are absolutely right. Dr. Liu's reader made a very good comment and suggestion. The author 100% agree. This book mainly focused on the mental and spiritual energy practice through meditation, spiritual cultivation, lifestyle, energy practice and removal of blockages that are caused by human attachments at material or physical level, but does not focus on the body work and exercise. But body and mind are one, they influence to each other. Necessary body work, exercise, movements, such as TaiChi, Qigong, Yoga, walk, and other physical exercise, plus necessary nutrition and healthy eat, are all very important and cannot be missing. In several parts and at several points, the book mentioned these aspects, but did not actually teach how to do the physical exercise, movement, and take care of balanced nutrition. The reader(s)' comment about this, perfectly covered this aspect, helping other readers not overlook other healing and health practices, and at the same time helping the author improve future writing as a scientific system of mind-body medicine, which is very helpful. Dr. Liu appreciates this comment and suggestion very much.

Another reason this book did not teach or give enough writing about the body work or physical exercise is because that the author wanted to leave the entire systematic learning and practice of the advanced Qigong (physical movements, sitting meditation and spiritual teaching) for his readers to step further into it by themselves. The other Qigong mater teaches the entire system as a cultivation system, which has its own integrity which Dr. Liu does not want to put any interference, but just want to make a connection for his readers to explore the opportunity for themselves.
